Menubar Unix/Mac pada Windows?

Salam OMG! Hackers?

Semasa saya sedang berenang-renang dalam lautan google tetiba saya tertarik dengan satu projek yang dinamakan Nucleus. Projek ini sedang dijalankan oleh SingularLabs dan apa yang dimaklumkan bahawa projek ini di tahap Alpha. Belum lagi masuk Beta ye kawan-kawan.

Ok apa yang Nucleus nie boleh buat pada windows anda?

Setelah apa yang saya dapat rumuskan Nucleus ini mengubah menubar yang sediakala windows kepada rupabentuk dan fungsi yang sama terdapat pada Unix/Mac katanya.

Notification Terminal

Apa fungsi-fungsi yang ada?

Menubar ini mempunya sistem notifikasi (Notification System) contohnya anda mendapat email dari gmail. Jadi aplikasi gmail akan menghantar notifikasi terus ke pc anda. Ianya juga dapat menyesuaikan dengan system windows yang dipanggil Windows Integaration

Windows Integration

The notification system will show important system events, program alerts and even notifications from popular web services. It's accessible to other apps thanks to an open API

System Notification

Ianya dilengkapi dengan Terminal yang sudah menjadi kebiasaan kepada user Linux. Akan tetapi jangan anda ingat terminal ini 100% seperti yang ada pada Linux OS. Fungsi terminal pada peringkat awal yang saya lihat mereka meletakkan fungsi akses windows feature dan information, command to stop and start process, selesaikan masalah math, launch a website (buka web browser mayb), dan banyak lagi fungsi yang akan dimasukkan.

The terminal lets power-users quickly access important Windows features and information. There are commands to stop and start processes, solve math problems, search the internet, launch a website and much more. It’s accessible using a keyboard shortcut so you never need to leave the keyboard.

Untuk pengetahuan anda walaupun iainya masih peringkat Alpha. Pihak SingularLabs membenarkan orang ramai menggunakan perisian ini tetapi dengan syarat yang telah ditetapkan.

Nucleus is currently in active development. This pre-release should be considered an alpha version. It is not suitable for general everyday usage. Please only use in an approved testing environment.

Requirements:

The Microsoft .NET Framework (any version) needs to be installed to
use. You won’t need to download anything unless you’ve explicitly
removed the version of .NET that shipped with your Windows version.

Install Instructions

The files contained in the downloaded .zip must be placed into a folder in ‘C:Program Files.’
Ensure you configure ‘Nucleus.exe’ to run as an administrator. If you
do not know how to do either of these things, please do not download
Nucleus – come back in a few months time.
